We used to be called BMW Horseshoe, but we still have the same great ownership and management as always!

We wanted to streamline our name with our sister company SMART Adventures located on the same property – which offers ATV, motorcycle, dirt bike, snowmobile and other fun riding opportunities for individuals, families and groups!

Our 2-day off-road training courses are designed for men and women 25+ who have a minimum M2 motorcycle license – with a full M preferred.

We reserve the right to assess your riding skills and suggest alternate training before taking the 2-Day Course, such as our Dual Sport program.

Not only will you increase your skill levels, you will improve your confidence and safety in challenging conditions and varying terrains.

You also get access to certified, expert instructors, premium BMW GS bikes, and you’ll meet other like-minded, off-road motorcycle enthusiasts like yourself. Life is short – let’s ride!

We ask that you keep your bike at home and use our new BMW GS motorcycles for your training! However, for other motorcycle courses offered there through SMART Adventures, you can definitely bring your own bike.

We will provide full gear including helmet, gloves, and more, but you may bring your own gear if that’s your preference. Please wear a long-sleeved shirt or riding jacket, long pants and sturdy boots. Come ready to ride!

Some of the key skills covered include:

  • Slow-speed maneuvering and bike control

  • Correct body positioning and balance

  • Throttle and clutch control

  • Cornering

  • Braking

  • Ascending and descending hills confidently

  • Emergency stops & turn arounds

  • Riding over and around obstacles

  • Multi terrain riding such as sand, gravel, mud and water

  • General trail riding skill development and safety

You can bring your own lunch or go with the group off-site during the lunch break. Participants are responsible for their own food, but we do provide complimentary water. Feel free to bring granola bars or other snacks, as it’s a long, active day!

Yes! Off-road riding is enjoyable in the rain: There is no dust, the traction challenges help teach control, and we do the laundry. However, we may have to reschedule if there is extreme or unsafe weather conditions.

Our groups vary in size – typically from 8 participants, plus instructors. Our low instructor-to-student ratio means that more individual attention is given to improve your skills.

We have a 48-hour cancellation policy. In cases where courses are cancelled due to extreme weather and a reschedule option is not possible, you will be fully refunded.

Scratches happen riding off road and we do not charge for minor damage to our BMW bikes (The bikes have significant protection features to help reduce many types of minor damage).

If we must replace or repair parts after your ride, then you are responsible for only the replacement cost of the parts.

Please note that a $2,000 damage deposit is required for all riders on the first day.

Most of our courses are Level One, but if we get enough demand, we will run a Level Two course! You can also inquire with our office about individual, private lessons from our certified BMW Motorrad GS instructors.

Yes, we offer group and corporate training programs as long as everyone meets the requirements. Contact us for more details about group rates and availability.

Real Stories. Real People.

The staff are all extraordinary! My instructor, Glen had patience and the ability to push me well beyond anything I thought I could do. Clinton, and John were both entertaining and informative. And Amanda gave me faith that anyone can ride any bike with skill and class. It's clear why she's a GS instructor. Recommended for absolutely everyone!
